brochure Offered here is a professionally restored and respectfully
upgraded '68 Chevy Stepside short-bed pickup in copper-orange over
black. Showing just 45,555 miles on its odometer since first
delivered in California, the truck has traveled fewer than 900
miles per-year on average. The pickup has been treated to a
professional re-spray in metallic copper-orange. The quality of the
paintwork on the body-including the front fender tops in the engine
bay and the cargo box-is exceptional. The finish shines and the
metallic paint captures the light in an appealing fashion. The
cargo bed has been completely refreshed with newly varnished wood
and chrome rub strips. Chrome finishes on the front grille and
bumper, headlight surrounds, side mirrors, door handles, and rear
bumper are free of damage and shine brightly. Cabin glass and
lighting lenses are clear and un-cracked. The cab features an
added, pop-up sunroof. All badges and emblems are present and
properly located. Black, high-gloss, 15-inch aftermarket steel
wheels are mounted with GoodYear Wrangler® Radial
outlined-white-letter tires. Inside, door trim, bench-seat
upholstery, and carpeting have all been refreshed in black. The
body-color-painted dash brings the handsome exterior color into the
cabin. Stock-appearing instrumentation is driver-focused on a stock
black panel, while the factory opening for the radio has been left
unfilled allowing the next owner to choose their favorite audio
upgrade. An aftermarket black sport-style steering wheel is
mounted; the automatic-transmission shifter is column-mounted. The
truck features crank-up side windows and push-pull vent glass.
Throughout the cab, the surface finishes are all in excellent,
damage-free condition. Under the hood, a perfectly clean and tidy
engine bay provides more evidence of the attention to detail paid
during the restoration. The freshly tuned, 350 cubic-inch V8 is the
center of attention beneath its Edelbrock-branded chrome
air-cleaner and equally bright valve covers. Fender tops are shaved
and free of extraneous wiring or bolted-on components. Wiring and
coolant hoses are properly routed. Viewed from below, the truck's
chassis shows nary a hint of rust or grime. Properly routed dual
exhausts, 4-wheel power disc brakes, the 350 Turbo transmission,
and stock frame and suspension components are in place. Clear views
of the body paint and wood cargo bed bottom can be seen through the
extremely clean chassis. While the more than 140 high-definition
photographs and the short walk-around-and-startup video available
on the GarageKeptMotors website showcase this eye-catching Chevy
C10 Stepside in detail from every angle, including from below, we
expect and encourage in-person inspections at our Grand Rapids,
Michigan showroom. Please call to arrange an appointment in advance
as our showroom is not open to the public. And feel free to get in
touch anytime by phone or email if you have questions. Maybe
Chevrolet built it as a work truck, but this Stepside is now a
standout car-show-and-weekend-drive attention grabber. No longer
relegated to hauling supplies to a job site, fully refreshed and
tastefully upgraded, this C10's current-day duty is to impress
onlookers and transport its proud new
