Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale has the solution for those
of you who tend to run late- this very cool, 1927 Fort T-Bucket,
complete with a 331 Chrysler HEMI. This bad boy is all business,
and looks good doing it. The iron Chrysler HEMI is a very durable
mill and is complete with a nice polished intake and dual AFB
(Edelbrock Performer) setup. Close your eyes and just imagine what
that sounds like winding up through the gears! And for extra fun,
there are cutouts on the long tub headers, just in case you want an
extra dose of noise with all that whoop-ass. This thing looks like
the hot rod models we built as kids- and dreamed about driving.
Well here you go. I mean, you just gotta grin when you look at this
thing, with that dropped Pete & Jakes front axle, chrome plating,
hot yellow paint, Jag rear with inner disc brakes, fat rear treads,
and low profile windshield. It's a machine built for shrinking time
and distance, as Pontiac famously said in 1964 when they launched
the GTO. Well I don't know about you, but there's a very good
chance this will dust any GTO they ever built. The owner indicates
the motor was rebuilt, along with the addition of a high
performance 727 3 speed automatic. A Locker shifter was added to
the neat & tidy interior. This car is not exactly practical. But
life is short. What it IS is a machine that will make you smile,
get smiles, make your heart race, and perhaps spank a youngin' or
two on the street. This 1927 Ford T-Bucket is for sale through our
Fort Lauderdale showroom and can be seen in greater detail
