Vehicle Description
This movie car was used in the filming of Nash Bridges and is one
of only 1,117 produced in white in 1983.
The 1983 Buick convertible base price was $25,035 which was near
the very top of GM's product line and was built in very limited
quantities. This sixth generation Buick Riviera convertible marked
the first open-air Buick since 1975 and the first convertible from
GM since the 1976 Eldorado.
Introduced in 1982, the Riviera convertible began life as a Riviera
coupe. Cars destined to become convertibles were assembled without
a rear seat of headliner and shipped to American Sunroof Corp (ASC)
where they became convertibles.
