Vehicle Description
Take some time to look over this 1999 Chevrolet Corvette
convertible. It's far from just a dream car available at an
affordable price. With its 345 hp V8, six-speed manual
transmission, distinctive paint, and other custom touches inside
and out, this is a beautiful and distinctive rocket-powered
ride.
Red and black are great Corvette colors, and we'll happily sell you
one of those, but this one is for the driver that likes to stand
out in a crowd. Navy Blue Metallic wasn't a color applied to many
Corvettes in 1999, so it's even more distinctive to have what's
believed to be the original application. It does have some signs of
enjoyment, but its overall condition reminds you of the care that
has gone into this actual mileage car. If the deep blue shine
wasn't enough for you, there's also chrome mesh added to the front
grilles and the custom side scoops under the door. The hood also
has a competition-ready style with its carbon fiber wrap. But a
proper American classic deserves some chrome. So this one continues
with its custom attitude by adding some later model five-point
Corvette alloys.
The two-tone tan and black interior is another great-looking point
of distinction. The leather seats look well maintained, which is
always a nice sign of care on a drop-top. Corvettes come loaded
straight from the factory, and this one has plenty of great modern
features. It includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual
airbags, AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows, power locks, alarm, and a
six-way power-adjustable driver's seat. And those who know the C5
look for premium features like the dual-zone automatic A/C climate
control, Bose speakers, and windshield head-up display (HUD). That
makes for the kind of car that's great to enjoy out on the road,
and the large trunk means the big trips are easy, too.
The LS1 motor made the C5 Corvette an instant classic. After all,
the 5.7-liter fuel-injected V8 was a true powerhouse with a 345
horsepower factory rating. And an upgraded air intake may even add
a few ponies to that. The six-speed manual transmission gives you
firm control over the power, and a set of exhaust cutouts means you
can make it growl, too. This car was optioned with the F45
Selective Ride Control, and so you can really dial in the fully
independent suspension for a terrific performance car. But a
Corvette is also built to be a good all-around driver. Power
steering, cruise control, and four-wheel disc brakes make sure that
you'll enjoy this for more than just the back roads.
This is a standout Corvette convertible at a super value price. It
looks great, sounds fierce, and is the perfect sunny day companion.
