1966 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 is one of the last years of the
"Big Healey". With its inline 6 cylinder 3 liter motor producing
150hp mated to a factory overdrive transmission. The BJ8 is the
most powerful and luxurious of the big Healeys with wind up windows
and walnut veneer dash.
This Austin Healey has had a comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic
restoration completed approximately 20 years ago and was performed
in Montreal Canada. During the restoration, a Jules frame was used
to ensure a rigid body with great body lines.
This BJ8 is finished in the classic color of Healey Blue and
presents very well. The blue interior with silver piping is also in
very good condition and is void of any excess wear or
deterioration, the walnut dash gleams against the Smith gauges and
fundamental toggle switches.
This 1966 Austin Healey BJ8 is accented with 72 spoke chrome wheels
which are surrounded by Michelin XZX tires.
