Extraordinario MODIFIED SUPER SPORT ROADSTERS in this or any other country! This 2005 SSR Super Sport Roadster is NOT STOCK! It has been completely disassembled and reconstructed into what it is today. For starters, both engine and transmission have been redone. Starting with the stock Chevrolet LS2 - a slightly modified 6.0 liter, 400hp V8 power plant used in the Chevrolet Corvette and Pontiac GTO - this beauty was modified with larger injectors, cam swap, reworked heads, with a Magna SuperCharger, and Custom Cowl Hood. A totally new exhaust system was added with oversized 5” Stailness Steel pipes from Simple Engineering in Arizona, and a custom painted rear wing - all of which helped create a 550+hp, street legal monster that sounds awesome. Note: this vehicle has spent its entire life in a warm, dry climate - starting in Southern California, away from snow, ice and those deadly road salts. Consequently, the body and undercarriage are free from rust and damaging road chemicals.
The interior was stripped and replaced with a $10,600 custom upgrade - including a high grade red suede with custom black Australian Merino sheepskin seat and dash covers, custom ECG carbon fiber and perforated black leather steering wheel for starters. The original Bose sound system was gutted and replaced with a $10k+ custom Kenwood stereo surround sound system with new custom speakers, subwoofers (adjustable), equalizer, heavy duty amps, and, Dynamat Xtreme sound deadening and noise reduction material installed throughout the entire vehicle. The suspension was refitted with a Custom KW Suspension System (adjustable lowering shocks and springs) and a Wilwood Disc Brake Kit; Custom fitted 20" Billet CCW wheels and new tires (w/less than 5k miles) were added for style and comfort. Additionally, the entire truck was repainted with a custom $10k PPG Black Beauty base coat w/numerous clear coat applications, finished with a custom Diamond Ceramic Nano Coating, both inside and out. Custom pinstripes; Red/Black Coco Floor Mats; red carpet kit (bed), complete with a set of locking (hard) saddlebags accent both the cab and bed.
Other "attached" add-ons include just about every item sold by Simple Engineering of Arizona*, plus much, much, more. Well over $100k invested (including original sales price of $49,600). I honestly do not know of a nicer, sharper, or faster SSR on the road today - just look at the pictures!
