Cincy Classic Cars is proud to share this 1977 Factory 4 Speed W72/WS6 Trans AM which is in mostly stock condition and comes with its original Pontiac 400 engine and transmission. This Trans Am features nice paint in factory Brentwood Brown, a beautiful stock interior, the original numbers matching 400 engine and four speed manual transmission, PHS Documents, window sticker, and build sheet, and several service records. This Trans Am is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Brentwood Brown over Black Cloth deluxe interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above and included PHS documents. This is one of the most sought after collectible TA's on the market being a factory 400 4 speed cars. Very importantly the original engine and original four speed transmission are both still in the car. This TA only has 60K actual miles and the current Ohio title has the miles marked as actual. This factory color combination is extremely rare and I have only seen two examples anywhere in over 10 years of collecting these cars.
Exterior
The Brown exterior is in really nice stock condition. This Trans Am has nice factory Brown paint which looks good overall. The paint is in good overall condition and still fresh with no signs of visible rust and both bumpers are in good overall shape. The decals still look great and the emblems show well as well. There are some minor imperfections and paint touch ups that may not be noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have good tread left and the 8" snowflake wheels are like new and fully restored and are in excellent shape with no curb rash and come with new center caps and lug nuts. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in good condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original space saver spare tire and jack, with a correct trunk mat and the inflator bottle which is almost always missing.
Interior
The Black Cloth deluxe interior of this Trans Am is in wonderful stock condition. The original seat covers are in great overall condition. The original carpet is in good condition with no major wear. The original dash is in excellent condition with no fading, cracks, or warping and the dash bezel is in like new condition. The stereo was upgraded years ago to a after market 2 prong AM/FM digital unit and sounds great. Thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo. The original door panels are like new and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner and package tray are in great condition as well. All interior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock. The stereo, horn, wipers, rear defrost and blower motor also work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This Trans Am is in great mechanical condition and comes with the original Pontiac 400 engine and the original four speed manual transmission. The engine was built around 5000 miles ago and a new Cam, springs, and retainers were installed, see receipt and Cam card. We have driven this car numerous times and it always performs well, it has not run hot, rides tight, and always a joy to drive. This Trans Am is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs excellent. The Flowmaster exhaust was added year ago and is still functional but older and it has an amazing exhaust note at idle and cruising speeds and no noticeable drone. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a factory NON AC car which really cleans up the engine bay and adds to performance.
