This 1962 Willys pickup is a stunning no-expense-spared build with
less than 70 test miles since its frame-off rotisserie restoration
was completed in March 2021, complete with photo documentation.
This build began with the frame being sand-blasted and every nut,
bolt, wire, gasket, seal, trim, glass, rubber, molding, grommet and
wiring harness is new or has been replaced, restored, refurbished
or rebuilt. This Willys spent its life in sunny Wickenburg, AZ, and
had zero rust repair in the complete restoration. This high-quality
professional build is powered by its 6-cylinder 226ci Flathead
Super Hurricane power plant, which was completely disassembled and
rebuilt, and matched to a completely rebuilt T90 3-speed manual
transmission with overdrive and a Dana 18 dual-stick transfer case.
The complete drivetrain was completely rebuilt with photos from the
machine shop. This gorgeous K5 pickup was built to be shown on
display, as well as driven and enjoyed. It was professionally
restored and assembled, paying very close attention to detail. Even
the original factory Willys embossed tailgate was refurbished and
restored. The underneath of this completely restored and
reassembled build is just as beautiful as the exterior. This build
is truly the result of combining the pride of professional
workmanship and countless hours of the love of labor with an
endless amount of funds.
