Vehicle Description
This 1971 Z/28 Chevrolet Camaro has been frame-off restored to an
impeccable level and is ready to be shown or driven. The
restoration resulted in laser-straight body panels before being
finished in a beautiful coat of its correct, Trim Tag-matching,
code 75 Cranberry Red paint. The high quality extends to the
undercarriage, where every nut, bolt and fastener shines like new.
Powering this Z/28 is the all-original drivetrain, including the
matching-numbers 350ci LT1 V8 engine mated to a Muncie M21 4-speed
manual transmission and sturdy 10-bolt rear axle with 4.10
posi-traction. The correct code 777 Sandlewood-Tan interior has
been restored and looks terrific in all areas. The front bucket
seats, door panels, center console and upholstery all show
extremely as well. The glass, trim and chrome are also in excellent
condition. Features and options include power front disc brakes,
Rally wheels, Firestone Polyglas GT tires, dual exhaust system with
polished tips, white hood and deck stripes, front and rear
spoilers, and center console with Hurst shifter, just to name a
few. Just inspected by Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance,
this Camaro Z/28 has been certified as real and authentic.
Documentation includes the original owner's manual, Camaro
Hi-Performance Certificate of Authenticity, Appraisal Report and a
replacement Protect-O-Plate. Production numbers for the 1971 Z/28
Camaro were very low, with only 4,862 units being produced.
