any eighth-generation Corvette. Secondly, well, it's a Corvette.

most importantly, this svelte Stingray is a 'pre-production' build
that, in addition to being number 655 of roughly 800 VIN-verified
Captured Test Fleet cars, is a low-mileage 2LT Z51 that still has
all its factory decals and all its factory plastic. What is a
Captured Test Fleet vehicle, you ask? Simply put, it's a
well-optioned car, assembled during a model's rollout, that, after
being paraded by corporate executives or used as a reference piece
for dealer training, would eventually be sold to the public. But
this Chevy, an extra CTF unit that was shipped to Atlantic City's
Kerbeck Corvette, ended up being parked in storage and left
untouched. That meant, when the car's one and only owner came
along, he scored a 7-mile pre-production Corvette that was still in
