For Sale: 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air in San Luis Obispo, California

Vehicle Description

Here’s your chance to own a drop-dead gorgeous 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Dr Hardtop Sport Coupe! This ’57 tri-five was frame-off restored by Bones Fab of Camarillo, CA in 2012-2013 and has been driven less than 500 miles in the last 8 years!  Finished in beautiful Colonial Cream and powered by its original 283 cubic inches “Turbo-Fire” V8 paired to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Restored to original specification with the exception of the power front disc brakes, 4-barrel carburetor, electric cooling fan, Flowmaster mufflers, power steering,  and electronic ignition for better driveability. Runs and drives better than it did when it came off the showroom floor in 1957! Make sure to click the SHOW ALL PHOTOS above to see over 450 photos including all build receipts. This ’57 Chevy Air holds a clean California title. Classic Car Financing & Worldwide transport available!

Features on this ’57 include 14″ steel wheel with factory Chevrolet hub caps wrapped in Hankook Optimo H724 P205/75R14 tires, AM radio (not working), aftermarket AutoMeter Auto Gage Three-Gauge Console displaying Oil Pressure, Voltage, and Coolant Temp, bucket seat, dual exhaust, 120mph speedometer, original Bel Air steering wheel, dome light, manual windows/locks, and gold front and rear emblems which all Bel Air’s came with.

The interior was fully restored in its original Silver vinyl with black and silver pattern cloth. The original 283 Turbo Fire V8 was completely overhauled by Revco Balancing of Long Beach, CA with new pistons, wrist pins, rings, rods & bearings, valve springs, a carter fuel pump, and a Hydraulic Roller Comp Cam XR252HR-10 installed. Other performance parts include aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold, comp cams roller tip rockers, MSD plug wires, 153 tooth flexplate, Flame Thrower coil, and painless wiring 12 circuit chevy harness. The original cast iron exhaust manifolds were ceramic coated. To see the complete list of engine parts make sure to view the build receipts at the bottom of the photo gallery.
