Vehicle Description
As you can see this 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline needs no introduction
and the pictures speak for the car, but none the less, grab a cold
beer and take a seat and give this a quick read. This '47 Fleetline
is not Grandpa's grocery getter out for a Sunday drive - this
street demon is out to kick ass and take names with no apologies.
The owner owns a local body shop and began the build with a rusty
frame and it was only full throttle from there. The 1,800 hours
poured into the build took 3 years to complete and only the best
was suitable for the car. The owner poured his heart, soul and
$160,000 into this beauty
The car is powered by a 454 V8. The car comes with a receipt
showing the engine build and dyno test sheet that shows 463 horse
power. The 700R automatic transmission shifts smoothly and was
customized to have a push button gear selection on the dash. The
beast rides on air suspension with the largest Mickey Thompson
tires made in the rear. The Ford 9 inch rear end was customized to
slip in just right and take the beating from the monster power
house under the hood. The '47 has Wilwood power brakes, Billet
specialty Walker radiator, dual exhaust, Vintage air conditioning.
The custom interior is just plain incredible and the Sinful
Cinnamon exterior shows flawlessly.
The car took 1st place at the Custom Detroit AutoRama in 2011, Best
of show in the Charlton Park Fathers Day show, Fat Fender Award at
Good Guys show in Bowling Green Kentucky, and NUMEROUS other shows.
The owner traveled out of state all over the place showing this
thing off and always drug some sort of trophy home.
