Vehicle Description
This 1957 Chevrolet 210 Restomod takes the icon you love and
upgrades it with a Corvette's fuel-injected V8, a six-speed manual
transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and an A/C interior. It makes
for a legendary classic that's terrific to enjoy in modern
times.
The '57 Chevy is instantly recognizable, and so it only gets better
when you have one this ready to show off. The red paint has a deep
gloss and shine that comes from a modern clearcoat application. And
the addition of the cream color gives you a stylish two-tone as it
covers the roof and draws added attention to the tailfins. Clean
lines, good panels, and complete chrome cover the fundamentals...
but you also know there's something more going on here. The
polished wheels with 18/20 front rear stagger hint to the upgraded
power within.
Just like the exterior, the interior has a restored classic style
that also has well-integrated modern upgrades. The headliner,
carpeting, and dash all have a clean and smooth style. And we love
the classic look on the two rows of bench seats and matching door
panels. There are cool vintage details everywhere from the stand-up
spare tire in the trunk, to the AM radio that's still there for
display. But this is also a well upgraded machine. The classic
heater sliders have been replaced with full modern air conditioning
controls. The steering wheel has the classic Chevy style, but
beyond it, the gauges now have a cool blue digital glow. And have
you counted the gears on the shifter yet?
When you open the hood, you instantly recognize the motor upgrades.
The Tri-Five Chevys introduced us to the small block V8, and this
350 cubic-inch LT1 motor was one of its final evolutions. So you
not only have a terrific fuel-injected Corvette powerhouse, but
also this is a great way to have the bookends of history. It fires
up readily, and there's a nice set of shorty headers feeding a
rather straight set of dual exhaust pipes. And the six-speed manual
transmission is a great upgrade to give you good ratios for
everything from performance driving to overdrive cruising. Plus,
power steering, modern sport tires, and four-wheel power disc
brakes make for a fine all-around driver.
This restomod transforms the icon you love into the modern cruiser
you'll cherish. So don't miss this '57 Chevy. Call now!
