Vehicle Description
This 1968 Dodge Charger R/T received a professional rotisserie
restoration with emphasis on originality utilizing OEM/NOS (New Old
Stock) Mopar components. This Charger is powered by a
period-correct 440ci V8 engine fitted with its original heads and
steel crankshaft. The engine has been upgraded with a COMP roller
cam and 10:1 compression. The engine is mated to the car's original
727 3-speed automatic transmission, which has been rebuilt and
beefed up to support the added horsepower. The rear end is a Dana
60 with 3.50 gears. It has a solid original body with
quarter-panels replaced. All other metal is original, including the
floors, doors, hood, roof, fenders and frame. Finished in its
original color combination of red over a black interior and no
vinyl top, per the build specs. Other modern upgrades include
Vintage Air, Wilwood power disc brakes and RideTech suspension
components. The interior features a new stock replacement from
Legends, a fully restored dash cluster and gauges with restored OEM
bucket seats, console, trim and interior lighting, as well power
steering. The undercarriage matches the top and is finished in body
color. This '68 Charger rides on a set of U.S. wheels wrapped in
BFGoodrich tires. ***TITLE IN TRANSIT***
