International Scout ll for consideration. Built for 20 years the
Scout is one of the most beloved off-road vehicles to this day. The
Scout was originally designed and sold with the direct intensions
of competing with Jeep and the Toyota Land Cruiser in the then,
narrow 4 wheel drive market. Since its inception, the Scout, along
with the Bronco and Blazer, helped pioneer the way for the SUV
market to grab hold and take off with the American automotive
public.
The example here is spent most of its life in California. It is
fully restored and finished in Harvester Red over black interior
with a new black Best Top soft top. It is powered by the the
original and refurbished 345 V8 engine, automatic transmission and
4 wheel drive. Highlights included: Mild lift, bucket seats, rear
bench, power steering, power brakes, roll bar, newer tires, rally
graphics, hitch receiver, rear mounted spare, etc. Mechanically,
this Scout starts with no issues, and runs out extremely well. If
offers good power, tight suspension and steering and very good
braking. It tracks very well down the road and is and drives out
excellent. Recent services include: Transmission service and
reseal, valve service, new exhaust, new brakes, new tires and
hardware.
