Vehicle Description
The 1967 Volkswagen Beetle is already highly sought-after thanks to
some unique features only for this year. So to find one with a
sleek two-tone, cool upgrades, and an overall thoughtful style
means this is one for the true Bug enthusiasts.
We all love the iconic streamlined Beetle shape, but you can
instantly tell this one was given extra attitude during
restoration. The paint was upgraded to an orange and white
two-tone, and it has the kind of sweet high-gloss shine to give
this all the appeal of an orange creamsicle. This was a detailed
upgrade where they even used white for the fender beading. It makes
for a distinctive look that adds to the attraction... but the '67
Bug was already a sought-after machine. These had special
single-year features. Up front is the updated headlight design that
still has the front vents. This one really shows it off nicely with
the upgraded Lumen 7-inch LED headlight setup that has an orange
mount with white ring. And in the rear, the decklid was special for
this one year only. The chrome bumpers shine brightly and the
classic luggage rack adds to the cheery style. But it's those
15-inch EMPI wheels that really grab your attention with their
polish.
While the Beetle is known for being simple to fix and maintain,
it's also a treat to see that someone made a quality investment in
restoring the interior. The tan seats have comfy tweed inserts and
custom piping to match the exterior orange. The door panels are
done in a matching tweed. The two-tone dash follows the color line
set by the exterior. Plus, you'll spot some great upgrades, like a
custom parcel shelf, an AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth, and a Phoenix
Gold speaker system. There's even a warning light for the added
alarm system. The driver gets upgrades like a Grant sports steering
wheel and SCAT shifter, but nothing really beats the look of the
classic VDO gauge.
The motor has an ultra-tidy setup to make sure that all areas of
this Beetle are worth showing off. This is a 1600cc flat-four,
which was the largest from the original series. We even have $6,500
in receipts from Doug's Bugs N Bunnies from the last few years
showing a solid investment in keeping this running strong. It
includes a new EMPI carburetor, a rebuilt four-speed manual
transmission, and new front disc brakes. So it's easy to head down
the road enjoying that distinct VW air-cooled hum.
This is a single-year Beetle that also has been done to look
bolder, feel more comfortable, and drive better. So you know it
makes for the ultimate classic VW. Call today!!!
