II. Finished in matte desert tan with a matte black hard top and
rallye stripe, this is a sharp truck that never fails to turn
heads. Nice paint quality over a straight and solid body; GRC
custom front and rear bumpers plus Mickey Thompson 17-inch Deegan
wheels wearing 33x12.50 BF Goodrich all terrains are the perfect
complement to this rig. LED headlights for improved night-time
visibility. Interior presents nicely with high-back Corbeau
diamond-stitch bucket seats plus a rear bench seat. Stock gauges
(all of which are working) plus a modern Kenwood head unit in the
dash with Memphis 6.5-inch speakers.
Under the hood is a 345 cubic inch V8 fed by a two-barrel
carburetor and mated to a four-speed manual transmission. This
truck is equipped with power steering and power brakes (with front
disk). Recent comprehensive mechanical service including a complete
engine reseal plus all new belts and hoses, new aluminum radiator
and thermostat, new carburetor and Flowmaster dual exhaust, new
brake booster and master cylinder, new front brake rotors, calipers
and pads, new rear drums, shoes and wheel cylinders, rebuilt front
and rear axles and driveshafts, new clutch, resurfaced flywheel and
more.
This Scout runs and drives well and looks great while doing it. And
since it's older than 1975, it's exempt from emissions everywhere
