Vehicle Description
Lot #332-1966 Ford Mustang GT350 Convertible Re-Creation. A
complete no-expense spared professional rotisserie
restoration/build was just completed and has been driven for less
than 500 miles. This beautiful example started out in life as an
original "C" code 1966 Mustang Convertible, 289 V-8 engine with a
manual transmission.. Seller also states that he has owned this car
for over 14 years, and that it was acquired for the sole purpose of
this build. He also states that while on the rotisserie stand, this
car underwent a complete rebuild/restoration, with every nut and
bolt having been removed and/or replaced during the build. Like
everything else on this car, the original matching numbers 289 C.I.
V-8 engine was completely disassembled and then rebuilt back to
high performance specifications. It was bored .30 over, high
performance camshaft installed, aluminum intake manifold, Holley 4
bbl. carburetor and custom exhaust headers coupled to a full custom
exhaust system. A top loader 4 speed transmission carries all the
horsepower to the rear wheels. The suspension was completely
rebuilt or replaced with the Shelby theme in mind. For stopping
power, a new front disc brake system was installed. The impeccable
Wimbledon White exterior with the Blue racing stripes really
showcase the Classic Shelby look. The all new Black interior and
the Hurst style GT 350 wheels complete the package. Seller states
that this little Pony runs, rides and performs better than it was
ever intended. "Giddy-up!!!"
