For Sale: 1932 Ford Model B in Manitowoc, Wisconsin

Vehicle Description

All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance.  I can assist with financing and transport as needed.

Here is the quintessential hot rod.  This gorgeous 1932 Ford roadster is combines the iconic look of a Deuce highboy with great craftsmanship and quality parts.  From the brilliant red paint to the aluminum-headed crate engine, the custom leather interior to the removable soft top, this is the type of car that gets noticed wherever it goes.

Titled as a 1932 Ford, this car was originally built around 2000 but was redone five years and 5,000 miles ago.  The frame uses American Stamping rails with Deuce Factory crossmembers, while the body is from Kilbourne and wears high quality Torch Red paint.  The Hagan hood panel is secured by old school spring straps.  There is also a Lobeck tilt-out windshield and a Brookville grille shell.  The one-piece fabric top uses a rigid frame that is stiff and light, making it easy for one person to remove.  The brilliant look is nicely accented by aluminum 15” American Racing wheels with BF Goodrich tires (195/60 front, 255/70 rear).

The drivetrain has been upgraded with a crate engine from the Engine Factory.  This 350 ci Chevy is rated at 375 hp out of the box.  Highlights include 9.5:1 pistons, Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, a Comp Cams camshaft (260 / 268 duration), a polished aluminum intake manifold, and a Holley carburetor.  The transmission is a TH350 automatic with kickdown, followed by a Ford 9” rear end.  This is a well-proven recipe for any street car, and is especially potent in such a lightweight street rod.

The front suspension features a Super Bell I-Beam axle with a Posie spring on Pete & Jakes hairpins and shocks.  The rear has a Pete & Jakes four-link setup with TCI adjustable coilovers.  The steering employs a Flaming River column and steering box, while the 4-wheel disc brakes are from Magnum.  Additional features include a Vintique fuel tank and spreader bars, AFCO radiator and transmission cooler, and a 16” electric fan.

The custom black leather interior is from Auto Weave and has a clean, tight appearance with a soft feel.  It’s just what you’d want from a roadster like this one.  The seat is from Glide Engineering while the dash panel and steering wheel are from Lobeck.  The center mount gauges are from Stewart Warner while the JVC sound system features USB and Bluetooth.  There is also a Lokar shifter along with a Kwik Wire wiring harness.  The car is also equipped with a horn, turn signals, and a neutral safety switch.  Note the trunk is fully finished as well and matches the interior.

The ’32 Ford is one of the most popular hot rods in the world, and for good reason.  It not only has great lines but also represents the dawn of an era, when V8 power and the phrase “hot rod” began to take hold.  This quality example gives you great flexibility in a reliable package that will have you smiling every time you open the garage.
