Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1976
Jeep CJ5! What is a Jeep? What do you think about when you hear the
legendary name? For me it goes back to the American way of life. To
go anywhere and do anything. No limits! Nothing embodies that
statement better than a Jeep, literally! Jeeps rich and rugged
history goes back to WWII and has seen many changes and updates
through the years. It matters not what generation you drive; you
own a slice of American Heritage and a family that will echo
freedom for many more generations to come! Here is a '76 Model, a
CJ5 series to be exact. The CJ Series was made between 1945 and
1986 and spanned many generations and was a great success. The blue
paint is dated but is now an all-fiberglass body. The Baja Ultra
seats are nice and 5-point harness will hold you in place. Under
the hood is a rare believed factory 304ci V8 mated to a 4-speed
manual transmission. This CJ has been subjected to a 3-inch body
lift and a 4-inch suspension lift. Current owner has had the Jeep
since 1997 and acquired it from Fort Campbell, KY. Believed to only
have 3 owners. Jeep comes with a handful of receipts from its
maintenance and care. Few of the recent items done, new clutch kit,
motor mounts, starter, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, steering
column, and fuel tank. All of this and more along with the seats
and harnesses were added between 2018-19. Even synthetic 5w20 and
zinc oil has been used in this Jeep. Whether you're hitting the
road or tackling a trail this Jeep is sure to be a lot of fun!
Options on this Jeep include: Power Steering, Power Brakes, and
AM/FM Radio. This 1976 Jeep CJ5 is offered by our Louisville
Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD
