We are selling this great 55 Mercury at our showroom. The car is quite original, and has been treated to some upgrades by the previous owners.

Rebuilt Wiper Motor
There were some paint chips and flaws on the car and the current owner had our paint correction guy take care of those. The major paint is an older job, so it isn't perfect, but presents very well.
Door and trunk seals were all replaced
The previous owner had several of the chrome pieces replated. All of the bright work shows well.
The interior was redone and looks very nice. The dash appears to be all original.
There has also been new windlace installed around the doors.
The speedometer was rebuilt.
The heater and defrost ducts were replaced.
The rear interior lights are really great. They have the Mercury logo heads and are so detailed. These little courtesy lights are not exactly inexpensive to replace.
The trunk is finished off and is very solid.
The 292 Y Block runs great. It was just treated to a complete tune up.
A new distributor was installed.
Under the car you will notice some updated items. There is a new fuel tank. The springs were repaired and re-arched.
The undercarriage is un-restored but looks really solid.
There are new brake pads and new tie rods.
Again, this is a very nice example of the 55 Mercury Monterey. Come on in to see it in person.
