1948 Plymouth Special THIS IS A PROJECT. The first two pictures
show how completed Plymouth Woodie wagons look. i have a collection
of parts from five cars plus new wood and full size patterns to
make at least one complete 1948 Plymouth Woodie wagon. Car 1 is
pictured on my trailer. It is now off the chassis and has a lot of
salvageable wood. Cars 2 and 3 are pictured with a blueish front
clip. This is a collection of wood, parts and hardware from two
salvaged woodies. Lots of useable parts including a rebuilt
flathead six engine. Car 4 was a 1948 Plymouth sedan that I bought
for the virtually perfect chassis which has disk brakes, a 9 inch
rear end, new springs and suspension, new tires and wheels which
all saves a ton of time in the restoration. The chassis was set up
and ran with a previously installed, but since removed LS V8. Car 5
is a 1988 Dodge 2WD pickup, purchased as an engine donor. The truck
runs and drives. It has a 318 V8 with simple throttle body fuel
injection, power steering, air condition, power brakes and an
automatic transmission with overdrive. There are no air bags so
this is a great engine swap. The collection includes lots of new
wood with the complicated, yet beautiful finger joints already cut.
Some of the wood is already assembled, including the entire rear
sections for both sides of the car.. Included in the sale are
extensive drawings and details for wood parts and assembly. This is
a very doable project with most all the parts to make a complete
car. It will take time and work but will be worth the effort. My
life has changed dramatically and I am not able to finish this
project. Let me know if you have questions. The car is located in
Island Park, Idaho. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is
