Powering this Packard is a LT1 350ci V8 out of a 1996 Impala SS running that modern power to the ground through a 4L60E Automatic transmission. Holding this legend together is the complete subframe and torsion suspension from a '78 Chrysler, mainly to carry the weight of her. The engine was chosen from the Impala for its cast iron heads instead of the aluminum ones in the Corvette so they wouldn't warp. Corvette valve covers were added for aesthetics.
