Vehicle Description
STK 2819 1986 Jeep J-10
The Jeep 'J-series' pickup was produced from 1962 to 1988. These
full-sized pickups were built on the Jeep Wagoneer platform that
was the basis for numerous post-war Army vehicles. These J-10s are
strong. This 1986 J-10 is a fully restored (2018) example of this
rare Jeep model. It has been professionally refinished in Dark Blue
Metallic with a White top and trim. All body and floor pans are
solid and a Rhino spray liner has been used to protect the bed.
Seating was reupholstered with heavy tan pleated vinyl that
presents well. The 'wood grain' dash holds a full set of factory
gauges plus an AutoMeter tach, AM/FM stereo radio and tilt wheel.
The headliner is also in very good condition and thick floor mats
are excellent. This pickup is powered by the indestructible AMC
cast-iron 258ci (4.2L) straight-six that is said to have not been
rebuilt. It is fitted with an MSD ignition and produces 112bhp and
210ft/lb of grunt. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic mated to
a 2WH/4WH/N/4WL transfer case with manual front hubs. The chassis
features power steering, power disc/drum brakes w/dual master,
hitch/receiver and front/rear leaf spring suspension. Factory
6-bolt 15" chrome wheels mount virtually new 35x12.50R15 BFG
Mud-Terrain radial tires. This is a superb example of a widely
sought-after classic Jeep that belongs in your garage. ALL VEHICLES
SOLD "AS IS".
