Gateway Classic Cars is excited to present this 1972 De Tomaso
Pantera at our Milwaukee Location. The De Tomaso is a mid-engine
Italian sports car manufactured from 1971 to 1993. The word Pantera
is Italian for "Panther". The car debuted in 1970, but the first
produced De-Tomaso's were built in 1971 at a rate of three cars per
day in the early production. In late 1971, Ford began importing the
Pantera for the American Market. A Total of 1007 cars reached the
United States in the first year of production. Our 1972 De-Tomaso
Pantera came with many new modifications. A new 351cu in 4vbolt
main Cleveland engine was now used as the power plant attached to a
5-speed manual transmission. For the US market, the car featured a
large single front bumper that was designed to reduce the front end
lift. This Pantera comes with an upgraded MSP ignition system.
Extras include the original "Tool Kit", original Maroney sticker
and original booklet. As expected, options such as air
conditioning(disconnected), AM/FM, cassette radio, black leather
seats and power windows. This awesome bright yellow 1972 De Tomaso
Pantera has become a rare commodity in the classic car market. Make
sure you don't let this one get away.
