This 1969 Chevelle Pro-Touring Resto-Mod underwent a complete
body-off restoration and is finished in Radiance Red with sharp
lines and nice gaps in the body. Attention to detail was used
throughout assembly. The trim and glass have been replaced and
polished. Also, new bumpers, grille and trim were added during
restoration. The new black interior looks and feels amazing, with
Dakota Digital instrumentation and a Retro Autosound stereo added
for modern convenience. Painless Performance wiring was used
throughout in the body and powertrain, and was tucked and hidden.
The 5.3-liter 8-cylinder LS engine was upgraded with a performance
cam, LS6 intake, stainless Ultimate headers and stainless
Flowmaster exhaust, all backed by an overdrive automatic
transmission with a Circle D 3200 stall converter and a 12-bolt
posi-traction rear end with 4.10 gears and Toms axles. An aluminum
radiator and dual electric fans were added, and Tanks Inc. supplied
the fuel-injection system. This vehicle comes equipped with Vintage
Air, billet serpentine system and hood hinges, along with huge
4-wheel power disc brakes from Wilwood and SSBC calipers. The
steering and suspension use Hotchkis, and SPC adjustable components
with Viking double adjustable coilovers on all four corners, along
with power rack & pinion steering. It's riding on custom Boze alloy
wheels. During the car's build, it was used by Painless Performance
for advertising in the January 2019 issue of Chevy Hi Performance
and the February 2019 issue of Super Chevy, as well as some digital
