Offered for sale by our showroom is this burly 1985 AM General
HMMWV M998. Powered by torquey a 6.5l Diesel backed up to a TH400
3-speed automatic transmission, this Humvee was made to be
bulletproof, both figuratively and literally. This Humvee has never
left the USA, and never saw frontline battle. Several components
have been replaced, including the axles, differentials, engine, and
transmission. This Humvee was a strong and capable truck when new,
and it still is today. Wearing a fresh coat of "CARC" (Chemical
Agent Resistant Coating) two-tone paint, this Humvee is a
good-looking machine. The CARC paint is designed to allow chemical
agents to easily wash off to avoid contamination of our armed
forces personnel. The headlights have had LED housings retrofitted
and shine brighter than the sun. The interior has been refurbished
and new seats have been installed. The vehicle has had a 2" lift
installed to make this vehicle even more capable than originally
designed. This is a strong-running Humvee with a lot of restoration
work gone into keeping it looking and feeling fresh. MUST BE A U.S.
CITIZEN TO PURCHASE. Options include: Manual Convertible Top,
Diesel Engine, Seat Belts, Off-Road Tires, and Cloth Interior. For
