Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 22nd year in the
classic and muscle car business. GM's first generation of their C/K
series (1960-1966) trucks revolutionized the industry with features
such as a drop-center frame, independent front suspension, and a
trailing arm rear suspension. These innovations moved these
formerly utilitarian pickups closer to automobiles in terms of
comfort and convenience and are a major factor in their increasing
popularity as restomods. This charming little 1964 C10 is just such
a truck, with its largely stock appearance masking some carefully
selected upgrades. Lift the hood and you'll find a GMPP 350 HO from
Hewlett Chevrolet that's been fortified with a Holley carburetor,
GMPP aluminum intake manifold, Hooker headers, HEI, and a Champion
aluminum radiator. Additional features include power steering,
power front disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C, 3-speed manual
transmission with Hurst shifter, front and rear stabilizer bars,
AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth capability, a new dual exhaust system,
distressed leather seat, auxiliary gauges, a beautiful custom
hickory bed, and a nice lockable storage box. Tony, the owner of
Street Dreams, had been watching this truck for about 20 years
prior to its purchase and subsequent reconditioning. This truck is
an absolute pleasure to drive with its vastly improved levels of
acceleration, handling, braking, and comfort. The brown patches of
paint were applied for a patina effect requested by a previous
owner. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership
that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing
options.
