Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1975
Triumph TR6! Near the end of the 60's British manufacturer Triumph
decided to replace the TR5 and naturally the TR6 was born. The TR6
production would run for the better part of a decade spanning
1968-1976. At its time it outperformed all previous TR6s in sales.
Of the over 90k TR6s made over the years less than 10% were
actually sold in the United Kingdom, all other were exported. Here
we have one of the final years of the TR6, a 1975 model. The paint
commands your attention right away as you approach the car.
Exterior was sprayed in Scion Orange and looks fantastic! The black
top is new and goes well with the color of the car. The black vinyl
interior is also in great shape. Under the hood you'll find the
2.5L Inline 6cyl engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission.
This TR6 was subjected to a complete tear down of the body and
painted and repaired. The frame was inspected, cleaned and
rustproofed. Lots of new goodies, some of which include: New
steering wheel, dash refurbished, horn, starter, clutch slave,
convertible top, inner fenders, rear springs, brake lines and more.
Current owner has had her for over 11 years. Purchased from a
private owner and believed to be a 3-owner car. Only items to note
are the driver high beam is out and the radio and heat are stated
to be disconnected. It is one of the cleanest and sharpest TR6's we
have seen here! The title is clean and clear and ready to be
transferred into your name now! Options on this TR6 include: Vinyl
Interior, AM/FM Radio, Seat Belts, and Alloy Wheels. This 1975
Triumph TR6 is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen
