Offered for sale by our Chicago showroom is this beautiful 1962
Chevrolet Corvette. Powered by a 327 small block V8 with only 376
miles since new, this is a true "must-see." Given the nickname
"Cherry Smash" this Corvette has won national shows, been on the
cover of magazines, and has been completely customized from top to
bottom, inside and out. Starting with the 327 having been
completely gone through and prepared for boost via the 4-71 Cragar
supercharger blasting out an estimated 600+ horsepower. Being that
this 'Vette was never destined for the streets, the alternator was
removed to eliminate as much parasitic drag from the engine as
possible. Lots of Corvettes have big horsepower claims, but none of
them have looks on par with this 1975 ISCA show winner. With a
painted frame, chrome front straight axle, and custom veluer
wrapped interior, including the roll cage, this Corvette just oozes
style and is loaded with secret changes and upgrades from your
standard '62 model. The front rims are still wrapped in perior
correct Stahl tires, while a fresher set of rear slicks have been
installed for safety. The 4-speed trans shifts like butter and is
eager to be wound out and hammered ingo gear. The blower puts out
the distinct whine that only a roots-style supercharger can deliver
bringing a vintage sound to match the sights and smells of unburnt
fuel and candy-metallic paint. This Corvette is full disco and is a
true survivor of the glory days of drag racing and car shows.
Options include: Manual Convertible Top, Seat belts, and Racing
Wheels. For more information on this beautiful 1932 Chevrolet
