Our Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer a beautiful 1950 Willys
Jeepster. In 1908, John North Willys purchased the Overland
Automotive Company based out of Indianapolis Indiana. Within a
year's time, the company was renamed Willys-Overland and by 1912
they had become America's second-largest car producer, following
Ford. Willys biggest accomplishment was the mass production of
military Jeeps for the war in which they manufactured approximately
360,000 Jeepsters! While the late 1940s had Willys occupied with
building military Jeeps, Willys re-introduced the Jeepster to the
public in 1948. For 1950, the Willys was the recipient of revamped
styling and also carried the new 4-cylinder engine under the hood.
This specific 1950 Willys Jeepster received a full, frame-off
restoration in 1995. This 1950's Willys Jeepster is packing the
more powerful Inline 6-Cylinder motor which provides plenty of
scoots for this Jeepster to move around town. The 6-Cylinder is
paired to a 3-Speed Manual "3 On The Tree" transmission. The
exterior of this beautiful Willys is sporting a coat of two-tone
Green which has been painted to factory gloss. The interior of this
gorgeous Jeepster is wrapped in a newly upholstered black vinyl
which matches the black Convertible top and window panels nicely.
Options on this Jeepster include Manual Convertible Top, Chrome
Willys Hub Caps, and Wide White Wall tires which give this Willys
its original appeal. Whether your intentions are to utilize this
Willys Jeepster in an off-road course or enjoy it as a weekend
cruiser, you will be hard-pressed to find a Willys like this one.
