Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this burly 1985
AM General HMMWV M998. Powered by powerful 6.2 Liter Diesel backed
up to a 3-speed automatic transmission, this Humvee was made to
withstand it all. According to the Consignor this Humvee has never
left the USA and has a Clean Title and never saw frontline battle.
This beast can be used as a pickup and/or troop carrier. It has a
keyed ignition and alarm for ignition only. This Humvee was a
strong and capable truck when new, and it still is today. Wearing a
coat of "CARC" (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating) Green paint, this
Humvee is a good-looking machine. The CARC paint is designed to
allow chemical agents to easily wash off to avoid contamination of
our armed forces personnel. The headlights have had LED housings
retrofitted and shine brighter than the sun. The interior has been
refurbished and has high back seats. The vehicle has had a Fording
kit (extended exhaust, snorkel and manual throttle) to make this
vehicle even more capable than originally designed. This is a
strong-running Humvee with a lot of restoration work gone into
keeping it looking and feeling fresh. Options include Manual Top,
Diesel Engine, Seat Belts, All Terrain Tires, and Cloth Interior
with high back seats in the rear bed. This 1985 American General
M998 is offered for sale by our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in
greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at
