Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS has all the right pieces. That means it
takes this lightweight hardtop and gives it a terrific small block,
four-on-the-floor, and the suspension of a true street machine. So
when you think about a driver's classic with all the right
investments already made, this is it.
The code-18 in this hardtop's VIN tells us it's a real-deal Super
Sport, and this SS coupe was built to be bold. The blue has the
gloss and depth that comes from a modern and professional
application. It shows off the second-gen Nova body that has
terrific elements, like the full-length body crease, outstretched
headlights, wraparound chrome bumpers, and kick-up in the rear
fenders. So while this was one of Chevy's smaller car offerings, it
also had a ton of big car style. And this one turns the sporty
feeling way up with additions like the super scoop cowl hood and
15-inch inch wheels that just can't help but showcase the extra
meaty rear rubber.
The interior does a great job with blending vintage and new. For
example, the upholstery is a fresher investment, but the style of
the seats and door panels keep the detailed look of the Nova's
deluxe factory package - including the sporty white stripe. It's a
nice coupe to share with family and friends, and there are even
good upgrades to keep them happy, like the AM/FM/CD stereo
w/Bluetooth. But a car like this really reserves the best stuff
just for the driver. You get bucket seats up front with a center
console in-between. You slip behind a classic Chevy sports steering
wheel, and now it's on a desirable tilt column. There are auxiliary
readouts, including a dash-mounted tach, and that goes well with
the Hurst shifter.
Pop the hood to see a terrific-looking motor. The dark and tidy
inner walls funnel your attention to the bright block and all the
polished pieces of this V8 heart. This is a 350 cubic-inch small
block that's built for power. It includes a four-barrel carburetor,
Weiand intake, and a wicked set of long tube headers that feed into
a growling set of dual pipes w/Flowmaster mufflers. Best of all,
you have complete control over this lightweight and powerful
package thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. As you look
underneath this Nova it has the fresh look of a good investment.
And there are terrific suspension upgrades like the tubular front
arms, urethane bushings, a four-link rear, adjustable coilovers,
and Wilwood front disc brakes.
This is the sleek, vintage, and powerful classic you know was
always out there if you looked hard enough. So now that you found
it, don't let this Nova SS slip away. Call now!
