This 1987 Chevy K5 Blazer is an extremely original and very clean
truck with tons of cool Patina. It spent its life in Arizona and
Southern California. The truck was originally owned by a woman who
used it for her weekend vehicle and was always well maintained. We
actually purchased it from her mechanic who took care of the truck
for her. This truck has a great history and and awesome look and it
runs and drives great! The body on this K5 is original and clean.
We found no evidence of rust or rust repair anywhere and it still
has it's original paint with that Arizona Patina. The truck was
always kept under a carport, but the sun was able to get to the
hood and tailgate but the rest of the paint is surprisingly nice.
The original colors are Red & White. The interior is in great
condition and is about as nice as they come for an unrestored
interior. It still has the original upholstery, original carpet,
and original door panels and side panels. The dash was cracking
from the Arizona Sun so they added anew dash cover. This rig has
Power Windows and Locks, Cruise, AC, Tilt Wheel. Everything was
working and all of the lights, blinkers, wipers, gauges and horn
are working.
Mechanically this truck is great!! It has a strong running 350 V8
TBI motor that was rebuilt by the last owner who is a mechanic. It
starts and runs excellent and we found no red flags. It looks to be
all stock under the hood. The transmission is the 700R4 Automatic
and it was also rebuilt by the last owner (mechanic). There are no
receipts for this work because he did it himself. The transmission
shifts really nice and smooth and it is mated to the np208 Transfer
Case. The 4WD works like it should. It has 10 Bolt Axles both front
and rear with 3.73 Gears and the rear axle is limited slip. The
truck also has a 4 Inch lift kit with a new set of 33 Inch BFG All
Terrains on the factory wheels.
