Vehicle Description
This Lime Gold 1967 Shelby GT500 was sold new in Cincinnati, OH, at
Fuller Ford. The car was completed at Shelby American in April
1967. The original options include Lime Gold paint, black deluxe
interior with factory roll bar and "Y" belts, center-mount
headlights, 10-spoke wheels and Traction-Lok rear end. The car
still has the original VIN-stamped 4-speed manual transmission and
date-code-correct C6ME block, correct BJ BK carburetors, C7ZX
medium-riser intake manifold, C5AF-E distributer and correct Le
Mans valve covers. The 428ci V8 engine has been recently rebuilt
and properly detailed by a professional restoration shop. The car
has an upgraded exhaust system added, as well as the iconic white
Le Mans stripes. This car has been meticulously gone through to
ensure it runs and drives as good as it looks. The car comes with a
Deluxe Marti Report and is listed in the Shelby Registry. It also
has its original Shelby VIN Tag and the VIN stamping on the
passenger apron, which is legible and authentic.
