Real R/T, #s matching 383 Magnum. It has factory air conditioning.
This is a good looking car. Possibly 66,000 original miles.
EXTERIOR: Yes, it is a looker. A power bulge hood, stripes down
each side, louvers on the quarters and a racing style gas cap make
it tough. The body is clean and straight. The panels fit square and
flush, doors shut nice. The paint has a smooth glossy finish. The
decals look new. I think the vinyl top is very nice original. The
front bumper was rechromed, grill looks real good, has chin
spoilers underneath. The stainless trim, mirrors and door handles
are original. I would replace the mirrors. The rear bumper looks
like a good original. The wheels have new trim, tires look like
new. Weather strips are in very good shape. Glass is good
original.
INTERIOR: I am sitting in a very nice, unabused interior. Check out
the wild red plaid seat inserts! The upholstery and carpet is new.
It does have the original dash pad and it has some splits like they
all did. It also has rallye gauges including a tachometer. The
instrument panel is not cut or broken. It has it's original am
radio, the a/c controls are not broken, light worksin the glovebox.
The plastic trim on the side panels and center console is not
broken, beat up or worn. The original headliner and visors are in
very good shape, dome light works. It has all the original seat
belts.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has it's original Vin number matching 383
Magnum engine. The motor itself is very clean from oil pan to air
cleaner. New Holley carb, original valve covers and manifolds. The
dual snorkel air cleaner is excellent, has new pie tin. Features
include power steering and factory air conditioning. The a/c and
heat system look complete. The battery is bolted down, has proper
fan shroud, overflow bottle, horns, hood insulation etc. The vin is
stamped on the core support and cowl.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid metal, any rust was cut out and new welded
in. It was painted white. It does have a jack and spare. The rubber
mat and weather strip have been replaced.
UNDERSIDE: It is a good driver quality underside. It hasn't been on
a rotisserie and detailed, but it looks solid and proper. The front
end has been gone through, there are miscellaneous parts replaced-
balljoints, bushings etc. The fuel tank and straps are new. The
exhaust has correct square tips coming out the valance. Looking up
at the motor it looks fresh. The casting dates and codes are right
on, the matching vin is stamped right above the oil pan. The 727
Torqueflite automatic looks clean. It has original 8 3/4 rear end,
still has assembly line paint markings.
Overall very respectable car. It runs great, looks great. Real deal
# matching R/T with factory air. This is a pretty rare find!
