Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1966 Chevelle
Convertible SS Tribute. Marina Blue with Black interior with bucket
seats, and a Black convertible top. This is a very solid
restoration with only the Trunk floor needing replacement. Open and
close a door, even when you open the hood you can tell that you are
looking at a quality build. With only 6784 miles on this car since
its rebirth the seller tells us that the only item needing
attention is the replacement of the heater control cables. The
interior of this car is very nice. Factory bucket seats and a full
console complete with a Hurst shifter and a functioning clock look
great. A carbon fiber dash has been upgraded with Auto Meter
gauges. Carpet and door panels are like new. The windshield is new.
There is a remote stereo with a 6 CD changer in the trunk. The
exterior could pass for being painted days ago when it is years
old. All of the stainless has been redone. Rally wheels and
Goodyear raised white letter tires along with SS Chevelle badging
complete the look right down to the 396 on the front fender. The
truth be told there are 502 CI of Chevy crate motor under the hood.
Producing 502 HP and combined with a Tremac 5 speed manual
transmission and a 12 bolt 3:73 rear with Moser axels the drive
train in this Chevelle means business. Additional upgrades include
a tilt column and a new quick ratio steering box. This car drives
as good as it looks. To view this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS
