Toyota started production of the FJ40 in 1960 and started importing them to the United States in 1963. The last one headed to the states came off the assembly line in 1983 and they made a brief comeback as a modern SUV in the US called the FJ Cruiser From 2006 to 2014. With hardly any changes made on the FJ40's from 1963 to 1983, and they are as comfortable on a trail as they are on the highway because they were designed to do it all and do it well. This 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser had a frame off restoration done in Colombia. The red exterior looks awesome against the light white vinyl top. The super clean red/white /grey interior is in surprisingly good condition.
