1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Convertible Tribute
Car History
We have a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Replica Convertible here at
Adventure Classics that looks great with its great blue paint with
white 442 stripes, black interior, and white convertible power
top.
Engine & Drivetrain
Our 1970 has an Oldsmobile Rocket #395558 2 block casting that is a
350 cubic inch engine and appears to be the original. It has been
kept just like it left the factory with its gold paint, factory
intake and carb, 442 factory air cleaner, added Vintage Air
Conditioning, and chrome valve covers, and most other factory
correct parts.
It sits in a very clean and detailed engine compartment and has a
great startup sound to it with its Flowmaster dual exhaust system.
A three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 transmission sits behind it and
powers the 10-bolt rear end.
It has all the options you could ask for including a brand new
Vintage Air Conditioning, power steering and brakes, and rides on
color-keyed iconic factory blue painted N67 Super Stock wheels with
raised white letter Firehawk Indy 500 performance tires.
Interior
The interior has a nice factory looking set of black bucket seats,
door panels, carpet and 442 floor mats, matching rear seat, and
headliner. The factory dash has wood-grained accents, factory
gauges, very nice wood steering wheel, factory AM radio, the
Vintage air conditioning unit, and the floor console housing the
chrome/wood automatic shifter.
The white power convertible top disappears with the touch of a
button, and the spacious trunk is correctly restored with a
full-sized spare, jack, and the proper mat.
Exterior
Our Olds has a gorgeous blue paint job with bodywork that is super
looking with the white 442 stripes covering the hood, great chrome
and stainless, 442 emblems on the front, rear, and fenders, power
top with boot cover, and twin trumpet exhaust tips out the back of
the rear bumper.
Conclusion
The 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Replica Convertible we have here at
Adventure Classics is a great copy of a very desirable muscle car
and would be a very nice drop top collector car to cruise in and
enjoy.
It's one of the best performing classics we've ever had the
pleasure to test drive and a lot of fun to drive.
