This 2000 Chevy Silverado pickup is one stealthy rocket ship. Under the hood its original 5.3 iron block LM7 engine has been professionally rebuilt into a 600++ horsepower beast that includes all forged internals, bored to 388 cubic inches with a high lift cam, topped off with uprated injectors and fuel rails, high pressure fuel delivery, Edelbrock performance intake, Accufab throttle body and of course a Procharger forced air kit. The transmission has been beefed up to handle the big power. Headers are piped through dual mufflers to keep things reasonably tame when driving through the neighborhood (with only a trace of that "whistle while you work" supercharger waiting for instructions from your right foot).
To those who know, hearing it lope around, its obvious this thing can get angry fast. This truck is not for the faint of heart or for those unschooled in the world of big horsepower. All that said, the current tune makes for a very streetable car that can be driven all day, with cold AC and on pump gas.
The Gen One Short Bed Regular Cab Silverado pickups, especially in LS trim are scarce. This one is super clean with a few tasteful exterior upgrades including a Truxport bed cover . The truck sits on a Ridetech adjustable air ride leveling system and has been fitted with a kick ass stereo system. The interior is very clean with no rips or tears in the seat.
