This is a real Super Sport with gorgeous factory colors. It has
been rotisserie restored, the bottom is as pretty as the top!
EXTERIOR: It is a beautiful car, the color is so refreshing. Code
K-K = Artesian Turquoise without a vinyl top. The body looks
pristine, it is straight everywhere. No signs of rust, damage or
bubbling. The body panels fit perfectly square and flush. The metal
flake paint is all laid out evenly and it has a very glossy
clearcoat finish. The chrome and trim sparkles. Up front everything
looks new- the lenses, bumper, emblems, grill and headlight bezels.
The door handles, bowtie mirrors, emblems look new. The rocker
mouldings and all the stainless trim around the windows is straight
and polished. In back the taillights and bumper look like new. The
tail panel is very nice original condition. All the glass is new,
the windows roll up effortlessly. The rims were painted, they have
good original SS hubcaps and radial redline tires.
INTERIOR: The interior is what sold me. The matching turquoise is
beautiful. It's pretty pristine looking too. The seats are all
reupholstered, the backs of the seats are restored. New door panels
and armrests. The carpet looks new. Headliner, visors, mirror are
mint, the dome light works. It has the optional padded dash which
is new. The metal is all painted real nice. The chrome instrument
panel is excellent. It has a retro stereo. The heater controls,
knobs, glovebox liner look mint. It has an original center console
in real nice shape.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is detailed to show condition just like it
left the factory. The 283 motor is neatly painted Chevy orange. It
has correct manifolds, valve covers and 4 barrel carb. The pulleys
and brackets are clean, alternator looks new. The power brake
booster is cadmium plated, upgraded to a dual reservoir master
cylinder. The washer bottle and squirters are hooked up. It has
correct hose clamps and radiator cap. The wiring looks new. The
engine bay is all clean metal with factory spot welds still
showing. It is painted a smooth semi-gloss black. There is hood
insulation, hinges are the proper finish.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is beautiful, finished off completely. Clean
solid metal neatly spatter painted. New mat, weatherstrip and
jacking instruction decal. The spare is painted and has a never
used radial redline tire. The jack assembly is restored and bolted
down properly. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb is just as
slick as the body.
UNDERSIDE: The bottom of this car is beautiful. The floors are
painted the color of the car and have a glossy clearcoat finish.
The front end suspension and steering was completely rebuilt and
detailed. In back the springs, bushings and shocks were replaced.
Looking up at the motor and trans they are immaculate. The motor
has correct canister type oil filter, fuel pump and starter look
new. It is a Powerglide automatic, has inspection cover. The
driveshaft and u-joints look fresh. It has it's original 10 bolt
rear end. The brake system was completely restored- new lines,
hoses, e-brake assembly is complete and it was upgraded to disc in
front. The dual exhaust system was neatly installed. The fuel
system was replaced including tank, straps, insulators, lines
etc.
These are very desirable because of their good looks. This is one
of the nicest I've seen. It is detailed and dialed in, ready for
show and go!
