Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is presenting a 1966 Ford F100 for
sale. This 1966 F100 is powered by the stock 240 CID inline 6
engine. It was rated at 150 horsepower. In 1965 and 1966 on the
F100 models the turn signals are above the headlights. In 1966 Ford
replaced the rudimentary straight-axle in the front with an all-new
independent "Twin I-Beam" suspension with coil springs on
two-wheel-drive trucks. The 1965 and 1966 F-Series trucks are
distinguished with a "TWIN I-BEAM" emblem on the front fender. This
F100 is also equipped with a 3 Speed Manual transmission. The
Interior includes the blue and grey and sports two long slots above
what would become known as the egg crate. This F-Series was built
with a mildly aggressive look. What a great year for Ford trucks!
