Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1965
Buick Skylark Gran Sport. The 65 Skylark was an affordable entry
level car that Buick began producing in 1964, Its sleek lines and
multiple options would make the skylark a popular option for the
emerging youth market. This example has been owned by the current
seller for the past 10 years. It was used a sunny day car and
always garaged. With the current owner putting less than 1000 miles
on it since the motor was rebuilt. The car is showing 85520 on the
odometer and that is believe to be actual miles. The original
Wildcat 445 sits under the hood and is actually a 401ci V8. It gets
this droptop down the road nicely as the car was not built to be a
stop light bandit but more of a cruiser. But still have power when
needed, 335hp actually and sound good at the same time! The engine
is called a Wildcat 445 because that is the torque figure. The
Bamboo Cream paint looks nice with the black interior. Only around
1200 were made as convertibe 445 with an automatic! "S" is clearly
visible on the cowl tag which is known to signify the Gran Sport.
Even more than that, the engine pad number matches the VIN. If you
have been looking for a great original car that runs and drives
like only a Buick can this 65 Skylark GS is the one for you.
