Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1984
GMC C1500. By the mid 80's GM's flagship trucks had been out for
nearly 2.5 decades! While the first and second generations were
fairly short gens lastly only 5-6 years, the 3rd generation would
become one of the longest models runs, spanning well over twice as
long. Here is one of the nicest '84 Models I have ever seen, and
with an awesome look. As you walk around the truck the 2 stage
Sikken clear black paint has a gorgeous luster. Paint is in great
condition. The 20" Boss 338 Motorsports rims and Falken tires
really set the stance of the truck as you are ridding low! Interior
is also in great shape with a vinyl/cloth combo, vinyl only running
across the top of the back rest. One turn of the key and you can
tell there is some power lurking under that huge hood. Powering
this slick truck is a crate 350ci V8 mated to a 700R4 transmission
with a B&M shift kit and she gets you down the road with ease.
Take a look under this truck and you can practically eat off it!
You'll notice the 12-bolt rear end, 3:73 gear ratio and yes she has
posi-traction. Odometer shows 97k, unknown if actual, but only 200
miles have passed since the rebuild! Other noted upgrades include:
Edelbrock intake, carb and electronic ignition. 4-Core Be Cool
radiator with dual spal fans, chrome shorty headers and dual
flowmaster exhaust! The killer stance is courtesy of DJM upper and
lower control arms and springs. New steering linkage and tie rods,
dropped spindles, rear axle flip kit with raised perches and new
springs. Also new power steering box, big brake kit and new master
and booster set up. You can really tell a lot of time and work went
into creating this fantastic truck! Should we also mention that it
has a clean Carfax! Originally a western truck as she came from
Oregon. Only things we have listed as not working is the passenger
rear turn signal. Whether this would be your first truck or adding
to your collection, one this is for certain, you need this truck!
