This is an extremely rare, limited production factory-built race car. This beautiful 2018 COPO Camaro is one of only 69 COPOs built in 2018. It has never been raced or modified and has traveled less than 5 miles since produced. It is a truly brand-new car in every way! Finished in a beautiful yellow hue called "Bright Yellow" this COPO is a neck snapper. Under the hood of this monster is a hand assembled 350CI LSX V-8 with a massive 2.9L Whipple Supercharger. This engine was hand assembled at the GM Performance Build Center and is certified for NHRA Sportsman class racing. The transmission is a Turbo 400 automatic with a ratcheting shifter for racing use. The suspension features coil over racing shocks at all four corners for adjustability and a solid 9in rear axle out back to put the power to the Hoosier racing slicks. Brakes are lightweight discs front and rear with performance calipers and pads. The body was taken off the production line and modified for COPO use making it lightweight and removing any unnecessary brackets or sheet metal. A full roll cage is installed and is NHRA certified, along with racing bucket seats, a rear seat delete, and full six point racing harnesses. Out back is a racing fuel cell, dual batteries, a push/pull style kill switch, wheelie bars and a parachute. This COPO is #51 of the 69 COPOs produced.
