Gateway Classic Cars is excited to present this gorgeous 1955
Chevrolet 3100 pick-up and our Milwaukee Showroom location. This is
a fresh-fresh frame off restoration with only 200 miles on the new
build. Every nut and bolt was touched on this awesome truck. The
truck was originally built in 1955 at Fisher/Body GM in Janesville
Wisconsin. 65 years later this 3100 has been bought back to its
original glory and beyond. The build intention was to make an old
school hot rod with some modern-day amenities. Underneath the hood
is a small block Chevy 350 with tunnel ram attached to 350 Turbo
automatic transmission. A Ford 9" posi rear end with a 308 gear
ratio tops off the drivetrain. Modern amenities such as power
steering, power brakes and rack & pinion makes this truck an
absolute blast to drive. Gorgeous mat finish Buckskin paint with
hand painted pinstripes compliments this Chevrolet 3100 very well.
Even the interior has been done with attention to detail. From the
refinished original dash with a new factory matched cluster to the
saddle bench seat and carpet this is one of the nicest interiors
you will find. Hand painted pinstripes continue on the glove box
door and door panels. Tilt wheel and seatbelts are also a great
addition. This is NO radio, but the wiring and speakers are already
installed waiting for the radio of your choice to be installed and
put into place. DO NOT miss out on this one of a kind 1955
Chevrolet 3100 pick-up.
