This 1940 Lasalle convertible series 50 is for sale in our
Louisville KY showroom. The Lasalle was an American brand of luxury
automobiles marketed by Cadillac from 1927 through 1940. It was
intended to be something between a basic Chevy and a top end
Cadillac. Towards the end of the run of 1940 the Lasalle was more
like a Cadillac than ever. The convertible much like this one was
their crowning jewel and people loved it. The styling was classic
prewar with its fat fenders. The blue on this car really sits apart
with the chrome being in good condition for being restored back in
1983. The owner really didn't drive it much after that only about
600 miles. The car was taken all the down and built back up from
bare. The original 3446 engine is still intact and runs extremely
smooth. With the interior of the car being in the same condition
this old school drop top is ready for some great fall cruising. The
tired are wide white walls and exactly what u would expect on such
a car. It does come with an original 1940's service manual which
will come on handy when doing the routine maintenance. Options on
this 1940 Lasalle include, Vinyl Interior, Am Radio, Hub caps and
wide white wall bias ply tires. To view this 1940 Lasalle for sale
