Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is excited to offer for sale
this stunning 1955 Chevrolet 210 Restomod for sale. Sporting a
beautiful two-tone Black-over-Metallic Copper paint scheme with
spectacular chrome accents, this car represents the best of what
modern technology can bring to the best vintage metal. Pro Paint
Customs performed the paint and body work, as well as handled the
engine and transmission upgrades; and from all appearances,
performed a maestro's work. The chrome is amazing, and the
paintwork is even better. Everywhere you look, you'll find custom
touches, and the attention to detail is comparable to that which
you can find on the world's finest automobiles today. From the "you
can't find a bad angle, or "nit-pickable" error in the finish, to
the gorgeous interior, everything feels like the result of a
tremendous amount of time having been spent preparing to build this
car before the first wrench was turned. With a nice body to work
with, every surface was treated to give it a beautiful canvas for
the artful paintwork, from "stem to stern, keel to mast, and port
to starboard", this land-bound Millennium Falcon Rocketship was
given the king's treatment. Stainless steel fasteners and billet
aluminum abound, virtually everything is brand new, and everything
that could remotely be considered unsightly or utilitarian has been
covered up with tasteful, custom-fabricated panels, all of which
are covered in the matching paint scheme colors of copper or black.
The body glistens in the sun, and even under the brightest light,
you can tell that a crazy amount of attention was paid to getting
the finish exactly right. Even underneath, the floor pans, frame,
and suspension componentry are finished according to theme. The
front and rear bumpers are painted in the body colors' scheme, and
they look dazzling - when you notice them - and yet very
unobtrusive. Blacked out custom taillight lenses out back are
another custom touch. Under the hood as a brand-new, supremely
stout LS3 V8, sporting a high-rise aluminum intake with
custom-fabbed upper, Holley port fuel injection, and all of the
necessary bells and whistles expected, and yet, nearly everything
is covered with body-color custom panels, which provide a beautiful
show car experience. A set of Billet Specialties "hide the coil
pack" valve covers really dress up the top of the engine and hide
the LS engine's coil packs. Ceramic coated Hedman headers add some
pizazz and enhance exhaust gases most efficiently at the same time.
Twin electric cooling fans keep the massive aluminum radiator
cooled. The radiator, core support, the view of the upper
suspension, and power brake booster are all tastefully concealed by
custom body-colored covers. Behind that snarling LS3 is a brand new
4-speed automatic trans, controlled by the ubiquitous Lokar shifter
in the cockpit. The brake system sports all stainless steel lines
all the way to the body-colored multi-piston Wilwood calipers,
which snare the two-piece rotors quite fiercely, giving this
65-year old car the stopping power of a late model sports car.
Underneath, you will really appreciate the fact that the attention
to detail above hasn't been forgotten below. A totally hand-built,
custom 3" ceramic coated exhaust system is made up of multiple
welded and custom-flanged assemblies, allowing for easy system
changes (you can go from mild, to wild-sounding) with removal of a
few hex bolts. A completely adjustable multi-link rear suspension
setup (with adjustable coil-over rear shocks) help the custom Ford
9" third member get that power to the ground through its near ideal
3.73:1 gear ratio. A custom set of billet aluminum 5-hole "Chevy
Thunder" logoed wheels are wrapped by Nitto NT450 performance
radial tires (225/50-R16 up front, 255/50-R17 out back), further
enhancing the formidable performance of this beast. Inside this
gorgeous, one-of-a-kind "Tri-Five", you'll find that the magic
continues. Graced with a dash that's both vintage-looking, yet
totally futuristic in execution, it provides such sinuous lines
that you'll be mesmerized while you try to figure out if it's
"vintage", "futuristic", or both. A vintage horizontal speedo is
complemented by a full set of modern analog gauges to help the
driver monitor key temps and pressures under the hood. A custom
Vintage Air HVAC control panel handles occupant comfort. Speaking
of occupants: anyone inside the confines of this car will luxuriate
in the aroma that the leather interior gives off. From the
headliner to the carpet trim, a high-grade leather was used to
cover the horizontal and vertical surfaces. The seats are immensely
comfortable, and the stitching is evident of a master craftsman's
skill and deft touch. Even the entire headliner is done in this
beautiful, supple leather. It won't matter where you look, you'll
be hard-pressed to find even a stitch that's out of alignment.
Stainless steel mesh covers speaker grilles and trim areas and adds
accents in many spots. It's very evident that multiple artists
collaborated in the planning and execution of this sublime build,
which goes as well as it shows. Additional features and options on
this amazing 1955 Chevrolet 210 Restomod include Air Conditioning,
AM/FM Radio with Bluetooth and multimedia capability, Leather
interior, Keyless Entry, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Steering,
Power Windows, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Tilt Wheel. For more
