Toronado Americas first mass- produced front-wheel drive automobile

Spanning a production run from 1966-1992 over four generations.
Manufactured as two-door personal luxury vehicle, the Oldsmobile
Toronado was so well received it went on to become Motor Trends car
of the year in 1966. The Toronado was one of the first modern
front-wheel cars to have an automatic transmission which allowed
the engine to sit over the front wheels, giving the car a notable
54/46 percent front/ rear weight distribution. Most noted was the
flat floor adding even more space to what already one of the
roomiest interiors available. This 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado is a
great example of a personal luxury coupe designed to look like
nothing else on the market. Known for its distinctive styling,
luxury, handling and fine craftmanship. Vacuum headlamps and a
horizontal bar grille paid homage to the Cord. All this in a car
that stretches over eighteen feet and weighs nearly 4500lbs.
Painted in gorgeous Sauntern Gold accented with a parchment
interior and matching vinyl top. Under the hood is a 427 cubic inch
V-8 attached to a TH425 3-speed automatic transmission. Options
include air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power
windows, power seat, power trunk release and an AM/FM radio. Added
features include new brakes, new brake booster and new tires. Don't
