Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 2001
Chevrolet Corvette. This is not your everyday C5 Corvette, this car
is bad to the bone! Powering this Corvette is a 5.7L LS1 V8 engine
that has had an A&A Supercharger added to it and mated to a
6-speed manual transmission with a C6 Z06 clutch and short throw
shifter. Additional performance features include a DeWitt's
aluminum double core radiator, oil cooler, Texas speed long tube
headers, and 3" exhaust pipping with two Dynamax mufflers coming
out to dual 4" chrome tips. The owner claims that the work was done
by Top Flight Corvette in San Diego about 1,500 miles ago and also
claims that the car dynos at about 500hp. Although this work was
completed about 1,500 miles ago, the odometer reads just under 85k
miles which lines up with the Carfax report. The car looks very
unique due to its FD rx-7 Rocket Bunny wide body kit, Forgester
F-14 wheels, Street factions chassis mounted carbon fiber wing, and
a low stance due to the BC Racing coil overs. The car stated off as
Magnetic Red but has been wrapped in a Bardo Gray wrap that looks
sharp. The interior features Sparco racing seats, a Grip Royal
steering wheel, and even a double din touch screen. If you want
something cool looking and supercharged, this is the C5 for you.
